Fantastic. So removing the r6t3 will protect the xbox from possible updates which may come from xbox live (if you have the box conencted to the network) OR from a possible update from a game.
If you do not have r6t3 removed, could you leave it in if you just remove the "system update$" folder off any games before dumping them to your HDD and make sure that you never connect the box to the internet?
