What is the Best Way to Extract The Key From This. I have previously tried Jungleflasher 1.67b and have gotten all the way to the end just to watch it Freeze it is really frustrating. I have tried several Methods of doing the Disc Tray Open Fully and Halfway. Everytime it either Freezes or Failed Extraction. Any Ideas

MFG is August 2009 am i screwd

You may have one of the new drives that require some soldering to dump the drive.

You can get info on how to do this HERE.

Yeah I think I will Just Have To Be Patient and Wait for an easier Method I have Never Really Cut Traces and Soldered before.

Why not hire a expert to do it. I am in Canada and Ranger is in the USA

If it is one of these new drives then the cut and solder solution is probably the only one we are going to get.

I would like to pull the key from my DG-16D2S-09C and I'm looking for the most recent method.

Can someone point me to a recent tutorial on how to do this?

Drive is a LiteOn DG-16D2S-09C with firmware 93450C manufactured October, 2009. It's mounted in a fat Jasper XBox 360.

Thanks!

It may say 93450c on the lid of the drive, but if its got a dashboard 13146 or later then its a 02510c.
Regardless, PMT/probe3 will work or ALL phat liteons.

People are scared of doing the MRA dump but I do all my drives this way, really easy...

+ you dont need to spend any money on stuff!.

The traces are very easy to cut....just make sure you have a sharp stanley blade and make two small cuts across the trace and the centre bit of trace will just pop up off the board leaving you a nice cut.

The soldering isnt hard either, plenty of space on each bit that needs soldering.

Just double and triple check that your solder hasn't bridged anything and that your cuts are clean and you cant go wrong.

long live the MRA!

yeah, that wire and switch that is required to do pmt is way to much, lets tell everyone to do mra trace cutting and soldering instead. i just been rgh'ing boxes for keys to flash liteons personally. maybe we'll get lucky and find a way to incorporate reballing into key extraction to make it super easy.

In the time it takes to remove 4 screws and the drive cover, that's how long the pmt/probe method takes, zomg so hardz.
