Hi all.

I got a new TV today so took my Xbox 360 up to my room. However my router signal is poor to my room and I was wondering if there is any way to increase the signal strength?
I've been playing Modern Warfare 2 and the internet just cuts out because it cant reach my room.
Any ideas guys?

I have the Xbox 360 wireless adapter and a Belkin router if that helps.

Thanks smile.gif

Your router may have the ability to pump up the power. That may help. Also there may be a ton of traffic on the channel you use if you're close to other wireless networks. Changing that may help.

Aside from that, the layout of the structure is going to dictate your signal strength. There's just not a whole lot you could do about it unless you wanted to get creative with an antenna mod, though just running wire is almost always the best option.

Hope that helps.

Okay thanks guys.

And I know this is off topic but do you know a way to make the Xbox a little quieter?
Because downstairs all you can here is the hum of the Xbox.
