Mednafenx-nes V12b With Ressurectionxtras Options

hi guys,

i got a problem with MednafenX-NES v12b and the RessurectionXtras movies. in my old mednafenx 9 the screenshots from e:\screenshots\...... work. now im dl the 12b rel (gui says 10pb but nfo 12b - from 2 different sources dl) and the xmv vids of the ressuraction thread but the wont show up including the screenshots. i changed the path correctly 1time as f:\....... where the emu is and a second one as d:\....... but there are no previews there. roms/videos/
screenshots got the same name. someone got an idea?

Where are your videos and screenshots on the Xbox?

Mine are:

Movie/Preview Directory - F:\Retro\NES\Movies

Media Directory - F:\Retro\NES\

My Screenshots are at F:\Retro\NES\Artwork - just point to NES, not to Artwork.

One more thing, are your videos wmv or xmv?

Those folders you're using bigby are very close to mine, but will not work with the .CUT files when I finally put all the Xtras together.

I have mine in F:\Media\NES instead of F:\Retro\NES

So Artwork and videos folders should be in F:\Media\NES, what about roms?

Pretty much now I have everything but the old Screenshots and Emulators in the Media folder

My NES for instance looks like this:

F:\Media\NES\Artwork (For the converted Enhanced Artwork)
F:\Media\NES\Commercials
F:\Media\NES\Game Faqs
F:\Media\NES\Manuals
F:\Media\NES\Roms
F:\Media\NES\Strategy Guides

There are a few other folders that I can't remember right now and more may be added, like maps and stuff.

This looks the same for any other system. Just replace NES with Genesis, SNES, GBA, whatever. I used the same folder name to denote a system that XPORT used for the Screenshots folders.

So your videos show, but not the screenshots?

You should get the "NES enhanced artwork" pack from Rx's thread and put it in F:\Media\NES
(should look like F:\Media\NES\Artwork)

Or just wait untill all this stuff is released

nope, nothing work. the only thing that work are the roms, but there is no image/video output in the skin.

Make sure your videos are in .XMV format. (when you download them from the Ressurection Xtras thread, they are in .WMV format) You must convert all of them your self.

The screen shots can be a little tricky.

Check your file manager and make sure that the emu didn't make a new directory for them (that is empty). If so, copy your directory to this folder.

damn,

you got right. those extras are in wmv format. i found a wmvtoxmw converter, but he only converts one file and not a complete folder. is there an another one outside who can handle folders?

yes, there is one with a .run batch,
you put the converter in the same folder as your videos and click on that .run batch.
