I have been working on someone else's skin and just changing pics and fonts and colors. On the main menu, it shows E and F free space, but when I go into skin.xml and change either of them to G and the other to F (That's how I want it) the free space of G reads like this "6,[] mb".

What's weird is if I hit start to bring up the pop up menu on certain items (In the main menu and in the system menu) the G free space shows correctly like this "6,728 mb."

I also have a skin created by someone who put drive free space for C E F and G and all of them are numbered correctly except for G, so I don't think that the problem is with the skin.xml i was modifying.

I checked to make sure that "enable G drive" was on in my config.xml and in my system via UX.

Thanks for reading... I would have tried searching for this, but search is kinda broken here... at least on my PC...

Let me know if there's any info that will help you help me... for now I'll just say that I'm using a 250gb drive and I have an xchip inside... not sure of the bios atm...

That's weird it looks right. Do you know if you have the newest UnleashX. How was it installed? I am thinking there might be a couple things you can try.

1) see if you have the newest version unleashx. If you installed it from a softmod. Most that I have seen install an older buggier unleashX. So try and get it updated.

2) If you can launch the MSdash go to the saves and there is a unleashx save delete that. Make sure it the unleashx save and not a softmod installer save. Thats if you xbox is softmoded.

3)well I had a 3rd but I have forgot what it was. unsure.gif

0.39.0222A Build 572

I brought it over from the xbox in my room quite a while ago.

What's even more weird is that when I hit "Y" at the menu, and scroll down to storage, F, as well as every drive other than G looks like this:

Drive F Total: 123,408 MB Free: 7,535.36 (6.11% Free)

But G looks like this:

Drive G Total: ng Orange Free: 6,768.25 MB (6.30% Free)

"ng Orange???" Weird huh?

Unleash X isn't in MSDash in memory/saves... It's on C, here's some info from sys info via UX:

version: 0.39.0222A Build 572
Mode: dashboard
Path: C:\
Phy. location: \device\harddisk0\partition2\unleashx.xbe
threads: 4

That's about it... My friend gave me this xbox and he can't help anymore cuz he's forgotten everything... and my first xbox has a 120 gb in it so no G problems...

Thanks for your help steveo

*Quick edit* : I wonder if this has something to do with the (probably) old ass bios my friend put on his x-chip... maybe I should try to put my X5325 or whatever it's called on it (It's probably the newest one....)

*Another edit* : Xbox is version is a 1.0(0a) apparently... with an x-chip apparently.

Is it possible for you to try a different dash and see if the problem happens in that dash. Try AID just load the disk up and see what it says
