Does anyone know how to do this?

I am trying to put all my atari st roms on a disc for winstonx

you get the option to open roms from:

"R:\ (UDF DVD-ROM)"
and

"S:\ (ISO9660 DVD-ROM)"

I can burn roms using just ISO9660 they will load ok but the filenames are cut off and thus useless to know which is disc 1 disc 2etc

I can burn roms using ISO9660 & Joliet, this time the filenames are fine but the games wont load!

Any ideas ppl, been through 7 verbatim discs trying this down to my last one!

even if you could tell me how to do this for zsnexbox or neogenesis or fba-xxx that would be great, I need to get some roms onto disc to save space!

cheers

ps forgot to say tried burning using UDF 1.0 and UDF 2.6 neither would read aargh!

If you use Nero burning rom your life would be much easier. Nero has an Xbox compatibility mode built in.

1) On the left hand side Select DVD-ROM (UDF)
2) On Multisession tab select no multisession
3) On UDF tab go to the options drop down box and select enable Xbox Compatibility
4) On the bottom of screen click on the new button
5) Drag and drop your files and burn

Regardless of what program you use to burn the disc, the max file name can only be 42 characters long. The Xbox does not support longer file names than that so make sure your games names are are short enough.

Check out a program called Qwix, by Team Avalaunch.

Isn't it possible that the type of DVD on the box might prevent it from reading the disk?

I could be mistaken about that, but I know that there is at least one DVD player that won't play a DVD with avi video files burned to it in XBMC.
