I either have the worst luck with xbox controllers or they all break too easy. in the last year or so i have collected 7 broken controllers already. im down to just one good s type and a few big guys (which i dislike).

my questions are these. has anyone used the cheap but new 3rd party controllers found on ebay like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Microsoft-XBOX-S-S...=item5190734780

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-x-BLACK-CONTROLLER-F...=item27af4dc398

or does anyone have a better place to buy xbox 1 controllers? i would prefer wire original ms s types but if anyone has suggestion on good 3rd party cones let me know. i am hoping to buy a lot of like 6 of them for cheap. ~5-10 bucks a controller.

In my experience, you get what you pay for. Have you thought of these?

Original MS controllers are the best, in my opinion. Logitech wireless are probably the best wireless.

Logitech wired and wireless controllers are the best 3rd party ones available.

The other generic ones don't last very long.

I bought a brand new in blister pack controller from the local Family Dollar. They had some ps2 and some xbox controllers. The cords on those things were about 5 ft. Other than the length of the cords I have no problems with them. They cost $10. From what it looks like they are just re-branded microsoft controllers. I'm guessing that when microsoft didn't want any more controllers the manufacturers made the extra controllers and re-branded them. Mine are Xcalbur brand. Good luck.
