Help With Elite Purchase, LOT # 0926 Exploitable?

Before I shell out 300+ on this thing has anybody gotten one of these (0926) with a manufacture date before June-xx-2009? I've read before the 18th and "dvd drive list.com" or whatever shows this lot as after the 21st (out of 6 results). So just checking... I'll probably buy it tomorrow and check the date and return it if it is unsuitable. Also anybody know about these "2009" consoles places like microcenter are selling?
