ISO2GOD v1.1.3
Posted by XanTium | February 20 12:44 EST | News Category: Xbox360

KrK / Team 360h released a new app called ISO2GOD, a PC app for converting Xbox 360 ISO images straight into Games on Demand containers.

What's new/fixed:
+ Progress bar now updates when rebuilding an ISO.
+ More details about ISO image shown in ISO queue.
+ Option to turn off prompt when choosing not to save a rebuilt ISO image.
+ Option to always save rebuilt ISO images.
~ Fix for problem that caused rebuilt ISO images to be seriously inflated when multiple ISOs were queued.
~ Fix for when ISO started converting automatically after a previous queue had finished.
~ Fix for rebuilt ISO not being deleted when requested.
~ XexTool(info) is now packaged separately from Iso2God to try and solve permission issues with virus scanners.
~ After completion ISO entry will now turn green to confirm it has been fully processed.
~ Improved performance when rebuilding ISO image.

Brutal Legend also worked in v1.1.0, if you tried Partial.

However, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 still hangs. Can you guys fix that please.

IIRC.....DOA x2 doesn't let you install from NXE. If you can't install it via NXE then you can't expect this program to fix the games incompatibility issues running from the HDD.

Nonsense, it runs from a partial or full build.
It runs perfectly when extracting the files with Schtrom, so it can be fixed here too.

Do you believe? I believe.

Nice work.

2 issues/questions:

1) Band Hero (didn't work for me, anyone have this one working?)

2) What happens with Lips and Lips Number One Hits? They both seem to share a TitleID (4D530888), although Lips has a disc number of 1, and Number One Hits has a disc number of 10 (0x10 = 2?). The GOD package that ISO2GOD creates looks like one would just wipe out the other...

Thanks again.

So, as it turns out, I simply renamed 4D530888 to 4D530888a, and I renamed the folder as well to match...and the 360 did the right thing...it detected them both, and they both work...sorta....

Both end up getting a message about the disc being dirty. Also, maybe this is unique to Lips, but each title wants you to put the original disc in to play songs from the "other" title... I suppose there is no way around that other than to put a disc in the drive, or don't play songs from the "other" title?

Method for Games with Same Title ID/Multiple Discs

1. Convert both discs with ISO2God to different locations.

2. Rename the LIVE file and folder for one or both of the discs.
Ex. For Mass Effect 2 - Disc 2 rename 454108CE to 454108CE2 and 454108CE.data to 454108CE2.data

To rename the game in the dashboard:

I will be using Mass Effect 2 - Disc 2 LIVE file renamed to 454108CE2

1. Open 454108CE2 in a hex editor (I used WinHex).

2. Go to offset 0x412, you will see the current name of the game.

3. Change the name: I changed it to "Mass Effect 2 - Disc 2" with hex:

CODE
4D 00 61 00 73 00 73 00 20 00 45 00 66 00 66 00 65 00 63 00 74 00 20 00 32 00 20 00 2D 00 20 00 44 00 69 00 73 00 63 00 20 00 32

Starting at offset 0x412. Spaces are represented by 00 20 00 in hex and each letter of a word must be seperated by 00 in hex.

4. Repeat the procedure at offset 0x1692.

5. Go to 0x344 and select the rest of the file from this offset.

6. Compute the SHA-1 hash of this block and copy it.

7. Write at offset 0x32C with ASCII Hex. It should replace the old data.

8. Save and Transfer.

Thanks to krizalid for information on computing/writing hash.
