I am running a softmod using the nDure installer. Out of the box it comes running Unleash, but I'd like to run Evox as my default dash. I understand how to move over the dash file and the ini file, however my default dash files are located on the E drive. It is my understanding that Evox looks at /c/skin/ for the skins. Is there a way I can change the skins path? My C: drive is write protected (for my safety) by this install method, and so I can put any skins in there, let alone anything else the dash my want located in the C drive.

I've read a few references about CASH and HexEn boot discs to install Evox on a softmod, but I can't seem to locate these in the usual places.

Any help would be appreciated.

Evox looks for the directory \Skin\ in the directory Evox itself is in e.g. E:\Dash\Evox\Skin\

It expects to find a directory in there with the name of the skin you want to use, which in turn should contain skin.ini plus any .bmp files your skin needs.
