I have done the 12v mod on my console, using a source near the front of the console under the dvd drive. Everything went smoothly when i turned it on, but i noticed that there was no sound. I knew that the fans would be hard for my tv to compete with in terms of noise level, but without audio, i'm left with listening to the fans whirl and the buzzing from my tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this while its on unpluge the AV cable , and then plug it back in then shutdown the 360 and reboot.
