I have a mac running connect 360 and an older model xbox without HDMI output. I've been streaming 1080p 30fps h264 mp4s no problem to the xbox over a N wireless network, with a VGA HD cable connected to my plasma. I do have some files that are other framerates and the xbox doesn't recognise them.

Is there a way to play 24fps 25fps h264 mp4s without conversion on xbox 360? Though I'd rather not convert, would converting to 30fps be a problem as it would speed up the video?

I do have a windows 7 pc that I could stream from if other framerates work on PC.
