This is so weird. I just had a 20 gig hard drive, and i burned xexmenu iso on a disc, played it on my 360 and was able to copy and paste code9999 folder into my HDD1/Content etc...and all worked fine.
Today i bought a 120 gig hard drive but when i go through the same steps, i don't have Content, Compatibilty ETC folders on my HDD, so i have no idea how to install it. I tried just creating them and copying the file and it did copy but xexmenu is nowhere to be found on the xbox. Anybody know why this hard drive has no content etc?

Did you format the HDD after you connected it to your box?

Yea, i actually formated it a few times. The only thing i have on the harddrive is cache folder and some txt file. I just tried, and i can FTP a game to my xbox and run the file through xexmenu from the disc no problem but that would mean i have to have a disc everytime i do this. Any other ideas?

Thank you.

I've got the same problem, doesn't matter what content i put on my HDD it still doesn't come up in NXE.

The directories are correct and the names of all the files are spot on but nothing shows in games menu in NXE

why because you have no content, after a format you will have not folders, if you create a profile a folder will be added.
