Hi,

I had a problem with my xbox not starting up (Christmas lights issue) so I decided to flash the bios again.

I made a new bios consisting of 4x256kb Cromwell v2.4 since this seemed quite recent. I expected to be able to still flash the bios from this version.

However, if I start the box up with flash 1 or 2 selected, I get Cromwell 2.4.0 but can't do anything else + there is no flash bios option.

Is there any away to recover this without re-flashing the xecuter with a LPT programmer etc? For example, can I install gentoox or something and get access to some tools for reflashing the bios ?

Thanks,
X

Try EurAsia Pro Generic Flash Disc v1.3. It is based on Linux and Cromwell should be able to boot this.
