Does anyone know if this is possible? I just upgraded my ps3 hdd to 640gb and would like to reuse the 80gb hdd with my xbox 360 that has the first 20gb harddrive. i've looked at threads but all of the seagate discussions are from the original xbox, and all of the new discussions are about western digital scorpio drives. i use this 360 on xbl so it is not a homebrew system btw

Well, you are right, all the hack firmware stuff was all made for WD drives.

You may be able to extract the original one and install the Xbox one on the Seagate drive using this:

But you'll limited to 60 of the 80gb just because of the firmware. And be sure to find an virgin rip of the firmware from a 60gb drive. Look for the BIN file in all the usual sources online.

Good luck to you.
