ok so i have a xbox 360 and i flashed my drive its got ixtreme 1.61 and it works fine but tonight my xbox got the red ring and instead of reflowing it i have another xbox360 that works so i switch out the disc drives so i could play on my other one but when i put the disc in it says play dvd like i never flashed it. and i know i have the right drive in i checked. ive search everywhere and cant find anytihng on the problem, does anyone know whats wrong????? thanks

Now you need to...
(easy way) Take the original drive from the working Xbox and flash it.
OR
(hard way) Take the original drive from the working Xbox and read the firmware on it, then spoof it to the BenQ and reflash the BenQ. Then you can use the BenQ in the new Xbox.

The reason for this is because all 360 DVD drives are locked to the speciffic motherboard. Flash the new system's DVD drive it will be easier then spoofing for sure.
