Hello, I've a problem with Xbox back Up Creator, with every version of this software my Dvd Pioneer 112d burns the iso at 0,3x no matter the speed you chooose. I write an iso in 5-6 hours. I am using Windows 7 and my hard disk sata is set on Ahci mode. When I was using Windows Xp I never had this problem.

There'is anyone with my same problem?
thankyou

Yeah, I was only able to get burn rates of 1x when I used XBC on a new Quad Core system running XP. Also the drive activity was hurky jerky and noisy. Never did figure out why, however.

I switched over to ImageBurn and everything went smooth and quiet at 4X.

I don't know how to set the layer break on ImgBurn, Xbc is easier to use sad.gif

imgburn is so easy to use. all you need is a .dvd file to specify the layerbreak. Imgburn will even scold you for pointing to the iso if it sees a matching .dvd file for the iso you are attempting to burn.

so you have game.iso and game.dvd

Inside the .dvd file is just 2 lines:

QUOTE
game.iso
layerbreak=1913760

the .dvd is just a text file that tells imgburn what iso to burn and what to set the layerbreak at. Very simple.

Also abgx will create the .dvd file for you if you run the iso through it.

Trust us, go with imgburn, you'll never regret it.

it makes no difference, because more often then not when you try to select the .iso file, Imgburn will automatically open the .dvd file instead. I choose the .dvd file every time I burn a backup, and no coasters so far. Basically, by choosing the .dvd file you are not burning the actual .dvd file to the disc, but rather the .dvd file tells imgburn which .iso to write to the disc, as well as the layerbreak for the iso. It takes 40 minutes for imgburn to burn a backup at 4x & verify it, and 20 minutes to burn it at 4x without verifying it. Don't use XBC, its really only good for ripping games.

It works pefectly, thank you...one more thing : when I select the iso file the software tells me that I should write the dvd.file but for this time I can write the iso...is always displayed this warning?

yeah when you select the file you want to select the .dvd file. It burns the .iso using the layerbreak specified in the .dvd file. imgburn is giving you that warning because you are selecting the .iso and not the .dvd like you should so it goes ahead and properly selects the .dvd file for you.
