I have an XBOX Debug kit - the REAL debug kit with 128mb and Debug MCPX so it runs the original Microsoft Debug BIOS and XDK dash etc.

Its in a black XBOX case and I also have an extra spare motherboard for it.

This kit was used to develop ConfigMagic and my TATX Debug Dual BIOS with as well as bunch of XBOX Linux stuff.

I have not developed XBOX1 stuff in 5 years, so its collecting dust, let me know if you are interested.

(I purposely did not list this in FS forum, as Devs would appreciate this much more)

Undead.

I will go ahead and ask my questions here since you are getting the same ones multiple times.

Can you post pictures of the unit?

Is everything in working order?

Where would it be shipping from?

What forms of payment are acceptable to you?

I have a few things going as can be seen here and in the Homebrew Games forum where the Odamex thread has been going for a while. I have a dev environment and I load the debug dash on my chip modded machine but a dev machine would allow me to test some things I can't with my current setup. So I am seriously interested. Thanks.

Here are pictures, I have to go find an AV cable if you want screenshots.

(click images to see full size)

The XBOX iteself - Black case, no blemishes, has a label of "Devkit1" stuck on it, I can peel it off. we had 4 debug kits for the group back then, so this was kit1

Spare motherboard for Debug Kit can be used to build a complete second debug kit

- Yes, everything works, I gaurentee its not DOA or money back.

- Paypal is acceptable

- Shipping from Redmond, WA

- You pay actual shipping cost, I dont think USPS priority mail will be more than $15-20

any more questions, shoot..

I know what the dash looks like of course and I trust you when you say this is a debug unit so you don't have to worry about getting screenshots. It isn't like you haven't done anything for this community. If you have a set of cables to include with the unit that would certainly be nice. I am definitely interested in buying this from you. All I need to do is tell the wife what's what and lay down the law (which means I am going to go beg and plead for her to agree with me getting it.) That's life when you don't keep any of your money in a separate account.

Tell you what..

I've been looking at the forums and you are doing great work for the community..

PM me your details and I'll send you the debug kit and motherboard for free, I dont need the money.

I had a lot of help from Complex and Team Xecuter back then, so its time for me to pay it forward..

btw - here are screenshots just incase.. Also, I only have S-Video cables that I will send with it.

That is really awesome Undead. I definitely intend on putting these to good use. I have a lot in the works as you have already seen around the forums. I will send my info to you in a PM. It will be pretty cool knowing I am doing my development with a machine that was used in producing some of the best and most critical tools the scene has. I have been a user of ConfigMagic for many years as most here have and I have used your debug dual bios as well. Thanks.

I received the package today. The postal guy decided to toss it at my front door instead of going up three porch steps but everything seems to be okay. The spare board looks alright. If anyone knows what would be required to slap that board into an original system with original drives and get it loaded with the devkit software I'd appreciate some info. I am going to take a look and see what might be required but the more info I have going in the better. I believe there was a recovery disk that might be of use. I would appreciate a PM from anyone who happens to have access to one.

Anyway, I plugged in the complete dev unit and had it running Odamex in no time. Works great. Undead is awesome and when I start making releases everyone that enjoys them or any dev using the libs I am producing needs to thank Undead. He has done something absolutely awesome and I'm truly grateful!

I was able to convert a retail Xbox (which had a board with some goofy traces) into a second devit using the spare board. I have pictures of the process at this gallery for those who might be curious: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...m&album=529

Nice! pop.gif I had a couple offers early on for free devikits when I started working on atarixlbox. But at the time I didn't think I'd be doing much. Now look where I'm at... tongue.gif

Any chance of selling the second one?

I am holding onto it for the moment. It will likely go to 1 of 2 developers that I have already decided on and it will cost them as much as these cost me: $0.
