Does the Metal sheet have to be on the Plastic top of the Xbox 360.
I want to take it off to make things easier for me but idk if its there to protect the case or something.
Can i take it off?

It does serve a purpose actually. Its shielding for interference.

But most times your are fine removing it.

It certainly won't harm the xbox to remove it, but it might cause distortion to your tv if you use it right below a CRT or something.
