anyone else couldnt get this to work at all? didnt even show up in jungle. NOTHING at all. I modded like 20 of these(8000 v2 and 9000 too). there is no question in soldering(its perfect and checked). the dude who brought it in said he got the xbox back from factory last month. maybe there are more unmoddable drives??

just wondering if anyone else failed.. mad.gif

drive still works fine. soldered the traces back together no problem.

93450c of course. says February 2010 on the drive.

normally what I do is flip switch to position 1, open jf, mtkflash intro, power on drive and it shows up right away. now it was acting like nothing is even connected to the sata card. I tried onboard sata too no luck at all. this is very strange considering I already modded 20 of these.

I have done at least 40 February models without issue so far. Few of them today in fact. they haven't changed anything yet from what I have seen.

its irrelevant if it shows up in jf. just choose the right port and send the intro button and see what happens. if it doesn't intro, either your resistor isn't really 22 or u have a short.

well I couldnt find 22 and used 2x10. somehow those stopped working and I got some new resisters and was able to mod it. problem solved!

I dunno how resisters break though. arent they pretty much...."unbreakable" lol.. blink.gif
