hey I have a bit of a problem and figured it was ok to post here. I have my hdd from my original xbox and am wanting to switch it over to my jtagged 360 but I want to reformat it but also need to get home movies and what not from it (backed up games) I have looked through xplorer360 with it and see all partitions but partition 5 show nothing in there I thought that Partition 5 was the G drive? thats were all my video and i do believe games are. any help with looking through xplorer360 would def. be appreciated.

sorry for posting twice cant figure out how to delete it.

Partition 6 is F, partition 7 is G. Partition 5 is the Z partition.

Thanks a lot, the partitions it sees is only 0-5 suppose there is something wrong?

Im using it over usb you suppose that might be the problem? Also, is there something similar to xplorer360 that would allow me to look at my hdd?

You could try Xport 360, but personally, I wasn't able to get it to work (windows 7 64-bit driver issues). You may have better luck. It is mainly coded for 360 HD's but has some support for original xbox memory cards and may be able to access xbox HD's.
