As the topic says i'm interested in erasing Big Block NANDS and i have some questions to ask.

1. What is the correct nandpro command to erase the BB NANDS?

Is it: nandpro usb: -e512

2. How Long Does erasing take?

I believe you are correct with the command (assuming it's a 512MB BB), and it would take the same amount of time that regular USB flashing does, since it's basically flashing a bunch of zeros. It might be faster that regular flashing, I'm probably going to do this to my Jasper tonight actually.

If you want to erase the entire nand then it would be nandpro.exe lpt/usb: -e512

If you want to just erase the onboard memory then it would be nandpro.exe lpt/usb: -e512 1000

It shouldn't take long to erase.

Did you end up doing it, if so how long did it take?

Is there a way to do a quick format like you can do on computer flash drives and hdds?
