I installed a duoX in this guys xbox, about 2 years ago and if has found its was back to me broken, allow me to explain.

When I pull the chip out of the pinheader the xbox works fine when its in it wont work.

I checked every connection to the motherboard with my meter and I even tried installing a new chip and it just acts as if the chip has not been installed correctly or the bios is blank, the hole power on for a second then off then back on with flashing lights thingy

Its also noteworthy that this particular guy likes to take the xbox apart and tinker with it for some reason and there is no telling what might have been done to it.
I have been using the duoX exclusively for my xbox installs and never have any problems with them.

So dose anybody have any idea what to do here?

If nobody knows what to do I'll just softmod it although I hate messing with the softmods
