Hey there,
im not really sure if this is the correct forum. but it should be. (If not feel free to move or delete it ..)
i got a SMC Xenon Box with latest freebot and dashlaunch 1.0 installed kxampatch is stored on hdd -> dashlaunch works fine, so FSD boots up fine that means that the 30ms ping patch should be installed properly
my network looks like this :
i have a little server on the rooftop of our house. on this thing runs a webserver, ftp server and some things like that. the xlink kai tool runs here, too the xbox, the server and my laptop are connected via one router in the same network. port 30000 is forwarded for the server on my router. xbox is dmz
i can connect the xlink tool via web from my laptop without problems. i can join and create arenas, talk with ppl and so on
now comes the problem if i join a game, maybe Borderlands, in Xlink, i start the xbox with the game loaded, open syslink game and start the search for games on the xbox here comes "no games found". whatever i do, "no games found"
for testing i setted the server as "dmz" (all ports forwarded) but this occurs in the same issue
xlink works well. like i said i see a lot of games and gamers, can join and create arenas the xbox is successfully connected to my network. file transfer protocol runs great and with fullspeed
in xlink forums they havent any solution for me, hopefully you have :-(

hey
first, thanks for your replies
Yes, my laptop is wireless, BUT : the KAI tool runs on the server, which is LAN connected the laptop only uses the webserver of KAI wo configuring so this shouldnt be the problem
i deleted and renewed all titleupdates in cache and tried 3 different games, same issue whether with newest TUs or without any TU

maybe the host needs to update the TU. also, sometimes, noone is actually hosting a game on their xbox. you must be on the same TU as the host, so try telling the host to update. you try hosting a game and see if people can join.

Yes, thanks
the other problem is that i cant connect to my own server, created in a XLINK arena, too
this way it should be irrelevant which TU is installed, cause its only me :-( tried this with and without any TU's

I had the same problem for the longest time, I turned off dmz on my ddwrt router and turned off all the other security stuff on the security -> firewall tab and it magically worked.
