This may have been covered earlier in this thread and I overlooked it, OR it could have been after half way through when I got sick of people bitching about gamerscore crap and jumped to the end.
I can't get the temp to display. I know you press the back button, and nothing happens when I press it. Am I missing something?

If u have updated fsd2 alpha since its release u have to press the right thumb stick down to get it to show temperatures. As far as the FSD2 dash goes love it, its great how it's got the auto update feature and downloads coverart etc.. What would be another great feature would be some sort of parental control so you could lockout certain tabs for instance the Homebrew tab, where i have dashlaunch flasher, nxe2god and xexmenu. or the settings tabs, nand and filemanager tabs.

Thanks f0xrolder, worked like a charm.
I definitely agree with FS2a being good. Big ups to the ability to edit the colors of the dashboard!

QUOTE(WarSpaz @ Aug 8 2010, 10:24 PM) Got a little problem here and thought someone could help. I've got most figured out. Getting my xbla and most games showing in right folder except for two games that show up in the homebrew category.
my .ini looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <config> <locale>en-GB</locale> <paths> <!-- Retail and devkit attributes are used to configure the tab on which the title is displayed if it is a retail or devkit executable. Options are: 360, HOMEBREW, EMULATOR and XBOX1 (can be left blank). Example: <path retail='360' devkit='EMULATOR'>hdd1:\emulators</path> --> <path>hdd1:\content\0000000000000000</path> <path devkit='EMULATOR'>hdd1:\emus</path> <path retail='360' devkit='360'>hdd1:\Games</path> <path devkit='HOMEBREW'>hdd1:\Applications</path> </paths> <feeds> </feeds> <skin>Default.xzp</skin> <Music Path='game:\Music\' MUST be in GAME:\ /> <Video Path='' /> <DVDCopy 360Path='' OrigPath=''/> <weather location='Stockholm' /> <display horizoverscan='34' vertoverscan='26' horizdisplacement='0' vertdisplacement='0' letterbox='0'/> <ftp xboxip='0.0.0.0' port='21' username='xbox' password='xbox' /> <gamelistopt background='1' preview='0' semitransparent='0' covers='1' /> <mainscreenopt tempstatus='1' diskstatus='1' celsius='1' parent='0' showip='1' showstatus='1' showavatar='1' /> <moreoptions fanspeed='40' ledformat='0' /> <timeformat time='1' date='0' ntponstartup='0' /> <autoupdater ondash='1' onskin='1' onplugin='1' onbeta='1' installer='0' /> <Version XEX='0' /> </config>
The two games that show up as homebrew are in my "hdd1:\Games" folder. Thing is that i have another game there that shows up like it should under 360-games. Any thoughts?
I'd need some more info, like your content xml, and a log from the actual scanninig, because having '360' in the games path should already solve your problem (if you did that afterwards, you should rescan -> Utilities, Settings, 2nd tab, clear data or something)

any ideas why it is taking forever to scan for me? please note this is NOT the first time i've scanned...my fsd2content.xml has been there. i also didn't add a lot of things to it between runs. this has finished in 1 minute before, but this time it took 16!! minutes to scan. debug.log: http://pastebin.com/Ga3jjNea

Not sure where to post FSD2 related questions/requests, since there are two newer topics about it.
But how about a utility that erases all of your unnecessary save data? For example, you install and erase games/apps, but you still have their save data in content\0000000000000000 folder (and also in fsd2data/GameData folder). It's not really a problem, since they are near zero in size, but it would still be nice to get rid of them, you know :]
And yes, you can manualy erase them, but sometimes they have unrelated names, so you can't find them.

Use NXE. It does this wonderfully.
