I'm setting up my xbox w/ Matrix chip. I'm running windows xp on my pc. I don't think I need the dashboard bios. My friend, who the Xbox will go to, has a MAC w/ a DVD burner. I assume he will make hard copies of his games. I tried downloading the Cromwell linux bios from www.xodus-chip.com, but can't get any of the DL sites to work... Am I doing something wrong? Am I DL the right bios for me? Where else can I get the BIOS I need?...

These are the types of questions that need to stop.

There is no such thing as a "dashboard BIOS".
Cromwell will not let him play backups - "hard copy" or otherwise.

Do some reading............
