Back to the forums... long time no post

So, I acquired a Mountain Dew limited edition xbox and its stuck at the xbl screen. It bypasses the dash and goes straight to xbl. In order to play a game, the user presses B to back out of the screen. Three options are available, but the screen turns white and returns to this menu.

-Account Management
-New Account
-Network Setup

This means I cant transfer any exploited save game data. So I thought I would hotswap and replace the dash with one that isn't currupted but xboxhdm reports that the drive is still locked. You would think that the xbox would unlock the HDD, and if this wasn't the case, why doesn't it generate an error code of some sort? Is the drive really locked then?

Any suggestions. I normally don't bother the forums too much but this seems to be an issue no one has seen yet.

I have no other info available to me except that the xbox was manufactured in 2003-03-18.

Any ideas blink.gif

You will need an Eeprom reader or a Modchip.
