I know you can do this with NXE2GOD with DVD-DL backups. But how do you get extracted 360 games with folders and a boot .xex in the root to show up in the NXE GOD section?? Only way I can seem to play them is from launching them manually in xexmenu which is not ideal.

Try QuickBoot. You can use it to make containers which will point to the .xex files and load the games. They'll show up in the NXE dash, so you won't have to open XeXMenu anymore.

Tried that, quickboot crashes when I try to make the shortcut. I think its because Im trying it with a NTSC-J game. The Japanese text shows up as ???????????. Any way I can get it to make the shortcut?

Have you tried an older version of QuickBoot? It might work if you don't use the autobuild option and instead specify all of the aspects of the container yourself.

Would this NXE2GOD work with games on an external HDD? Would I also have to use quickboot?

NXE2GOD only works with NXE installed games

doesnt work with external

quickboot is probably the only option.

That's the purpose of QuickBoot. The games show up in the games library, so they're easily accessible from the NXE dashboard.
