i have 2 2tb usb hdds with films, tv shows etc on and they seem to work ok, but now some of the files wont show up in the video library on my 360.
i know they are there, as when i plug the hdds into my mac or windows pc it shows them all there and the audio/video codecs are all good...dont know how that would affect the xbox not finding them but still.
drives are formatted to HFS+ Master Boot Record
for example i will have a folder called house with season 4 in it now on my laptop i can see all the episodes of it and i know that they are all the correct codecs (audio + visual) but when i plug it into my 360, it is loosing about 5 of them but i dont know why.
if i reformat the drives to FAT, then the 360 finds the files straight away but refuses to find these specific files if the drive they are on is HFS+ format, but they used to work whilst they were on the HFS+ drives all of a sudden they stopped working.
have tried putting the files onto a different hdd but got the same results if that was also HFS+ format.
can someone please help
