Xenon Jtag Issues Options

started over from scratch agian with xbr remapped and (wrote kv before flash)
never have used this method before but figured why not and now its booting go figure

of corse after flashign the updflash i get a non boot lol


start this off with 40+ jtags under belt most xenons this one is bugging me
less than 1 hour job now im 6 hours in to this thing im going nuts lol

ok we have a xenon 1921 - 7371
bad block at 1c and 1d right in the middle of xell

either case flashed xell 1921 without moving blocks green light no boot

tried to remap 2 xell blocks to 3ff 3fe nandpro wouldn't open xell.bin

no biggie figured I would temp xbr in to get xell up for cpu key etc

moved bad blocks in xbr flashed
flash kv

still green center no load

reflashed orig pulled jtag boots fine

rewired jtag replacing wires and diodes
reflashed xbr with block moved and kv

nothing but green light again


any ideas I'm running out here

so far can not get past xbr3

if i update using flash360 i get a green light

using freeboot toolbox maker (pig proggie)
orig nand all seems good

flash 360 says it moving bad blocks

when finished i exit and get e71

clear power restart nothign but green lights

tried flashing freeboot.bin directly no boot green light
tried flashing freeboot manual remapping nope

but xbr3 remapped blocks and kv injected works fine

I had this happen and instead of trying to figure it out I just soldered in a differnt nand chip.
But I know there has to be a easy fix.

went back to the manual freeboot method
using dos etc

its working but its v3 freeboot xbox1 patch no bootloader etc

have never done the bootloader patch etc manually have used the pig tool box

so I guess im going to need to fig that out since tte pig is not working for me still not understanding why it is not

had to do everything manualy its all good flashed freeboot .32

dont understand why but owell least I got past it
