Let me tell you this story. I got scammed for a xenon jtag and got a chargeback, at least I got my money back.

I was fed up with being scammed and decided to buy a Zephyr jtagable on ebay and a nandx

After everything got here I had some some soldering issues, and ended up using the SMC method. I was in one of the final points of making and writing my Freeboot image, when my yellow wire came loose (i had a lot of previous problems with this point.

I heard someone say to clean the area with alcohol and try re soldering it all again. I tried that and I get a red light on my psu. I'm pretty sure it's because of the alcohol but I need to try desoldering it all again and see what happens.

I have desoldered everything and has cleaned it up as much as I can, do you think it's possible to revive?

Did you wait for the system to dry after you cleaned it with rubbing alcohol before booting it up? If it was completely dry, then the alcohol didn't have anything to do with red light.

I never booted it up, but I did plug it in to the psu. I never looked at the psu to check the light.

If the system is dry then I would suspect that is something to do with your soldering job.

This happened to me before, but it was because I had solder splash and it bridged a bunch of connections. Just scan over your mobo and look for any kind of bridging.
