I know, I know these questions have been answered a thousand times, but I can't seem to find all the answers I need. Is there a good step by step guide for installing a new hard drive in the XBOX?

The main thing I want to know is: Is it possible to put a new hard drive in the Xbox using the 007 AUF/Complex Loader method? I was thinking that it wouldn't be possible because, how do you get original info onto the new HD? If it doesn't boot to EvoX, then you don't have access to an FTP services, right?

Have you tried searching Xbox-scene's pages? I can kind of remember there being a post about how to do this, as for getting the original files back on the new drive I think you can have linux make a copy of your drive or just FTP a backup copy of your drive from EvoX then when you get the new drive let Linux put the files back on and then relock the drive. Now I mind you you still won't be able to play xbox live biggrin.gif Cheers beerchug.gif
