i have an old 1st gen 360 that has been brought back from the RRoD. I have been using LT firmware and flashing back to orginal to get my DLC. Here's my question. My samsung 25 may be dying on me so i am thinking of spoofing a benq drive to my box. if i do this and go on live for dlc using the benq orginal firmware, will i get banned. i dont play on live, just use it for dlc. i guess what i am asking is can M$ detect a spoofed drive even if it has orginal firmware. thanks for the help.

You flashed your drive you will get banned at some point.

Flashing your drive back to stock just to get DLC will not prevent this since most likely they can detect backup use even while you are offline and later uploads this data the next time you log in.

Your future ban date has already been set. As to whether this ban will happen today, next week, or sometime within the next few years nobody knows.

No more "ban" threads for such silly questions since this info is already available in other posts.
