Finished 3 more. Working on 1 more Primal Rage one, and up next is DOA Xtreme Beach nude. I don't know if I'm going to be able to host the box art here, though. Might have to upload a sensored version and host the real one for download. Then again, I might just have the text on the cover overlap the special parts :-D (there will be a completely clean version too - the one that's already out there).

Also, I don't know if it was just BOTH my laptop and desktop or just the site itself, but I am finally able to access XBMC4XBOX fully, so I will be cloning the topic over there. The box art is mainly intended as icons for XBMC, but I don't feel comfortable completely ditching the scene, despite the utter lack of people posting here lately. And Ultimate, I'm still working on the PURE box, but I will upload it and the other templates as soon as I'm finished.

Guybird, wasn't it you that made the Xmugen launcher a lot more stable than it used to be? I think I remember following that thread a while ago. If so, could you give me a list of the major versions out there? I know there are a TON, but I only want to cover the important ones.

Do you think you could make a second version of the Odamex box that features the Odamex name more prominently? When I linked the box to other people on the Odamex team that was the one thing they consistently stated is that the Odamex designation doesn't stand out. I think it is somewhat valid as Odamex is itself a complete Doom engine and it provides much more than multiplayer with single-player support that surpasses any previous ports. I can provide a high-resolution copy of the full Odamex logo to use. Thanks.

Yeah, definitely HyperEye. Do you want me to just eliminate the "Online" text and put in "Odamex"?

The only reason I put Online there instead of Odamex was because I was still able to use the O from Odamex and because it is truly the first online multiplayer version of Doom on the Xbox. I do agree that it runs WAY better than all of the other releases in the single player aspect as well.

So yeah, I replace Online with Odamex. Or I could keep it the way it is and add Odamex to the bottom where the developer logos go. OR I could add your own personal logo if you have one. I could even replace DOOM completely and try to put ODAMEX in big 3d Doom letters, but that could take me a while. I could even start from scratch if you'd like, just let me know which boxart you like and I'll use it.

No don't get me wrong. I really like the box you did. But I noticed you did multiple versions of some boxes and I was hoping you might want to do another version for Odamex. I don't so much want to get rid of the "Multiplayer Doom" box with the subtle Odamex in the O, which some have pointed to as cool and I agree, so much as I would like to have a choice with the second one containing the full Odamex logo. You can find a very large version of it that you can modify and reduce to the necessary size as needed here: http://odamex.net/dev/odamex_logo_xlarge.zip

And the reason I'm asking you to do the second one is because all of your work so far has been fantastic.

And if so, doe the bots work with other maps, such as the standard maps, and also the other map packs available? And is there a web page I can look at for more information?

It allows bots, yes, but only for the maps included in that specific pack. It also requires Yelo, a trainer for Halo 2. It's pretty easy to get working. I found all of the information for it in here

It's really nothing more than an "okay" mod. Some of the maps are cool, but the AI bots are pretty terrible most of the time. It is challenging, though. The bots don't have very good mobility at all, they run into walls a lot and do other stupid things, but they don't miss when they shoot at you. It's fun. The ONE map that makes it worth downloading is Night Ops. It's a constant brawl between spartans and elites, and the AI is actually pretty good in this one. It's best to play this map pack on a 128 mb xbox, but it runs fine on 64s too. You'll just notice that it is pushing the console to the absolute limits. Oh, and the assault rifle is very well made in this mod.

Oh right, it sounds interesting, I'll definitely try it. And yes, I'm a 64MB owner (I've never even seen a 128MB XBox).

Finished a few more. I've been testing game rips like crazy. Some of them that I'm finding out there are fakes, so I'm testing them all to prevent myself from wasting time on worthless box art. Probably the most fun I've ever had working on an Xbox project because I'm finding TONS of cool stuff that I never even knew existed. Like the original Outrun, ripped from Outrun 2.

And Hyper, here are the new Doom: ODAMEX ones. I'm not sure if you'll like them. It's hard working with that logo in that picture. I think the 1st one is better, but I made the 2nd one just in case. I changed the color of the logo simply because it was contrasting majorly with the other colors.

I really like what you've done with this project so far, l11l1VeNoM1l11l. I just have one request for you. Could you please get different art for the super mario war games... something a little less realistic maybe. Also, could you add the title and the version number as well. That would be great!

They look great! I also really like the first one. Changing the color is fine. I just wanted you to have a good image to work with. Thanks for these! I won't be able to include them with Odamex releases because they have Doom art in them but I hope people will use them and I will certainly use them in some videos I plan to make.

Xmodder, yes I plan on making more fronts for Super Mario War. I didn't plan on including version numbers in the titles, but if you tell me which version(s) you need fronts for, I can make them for you. I also plan on updating the Halloween one with the purple background.

Hyper Eye, I'm glad you're happy with them. If you would like a front without Doom art, let me know and I'll work on one. I'll try to make something reminiscent of Doom without crossing the legal line.

And cbagy, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! I planned on doing that as well, but not until after I was finished with the fronts. I'd definitely be interested in the green box if you'd be up for it. I'm going to make 3d boxes too, but if you mount them, I'll be able to make them 3d twice as fast.
