Ok I dont really know shit about all of this but something poped into my head while I was reading about if you do this they could release a game to undo it all or whatever. What I was thinking is that if the do release a game which would correct this couldnt you just get rid of the files that are on the game that would fuck the hack up after you ftp to the pc hdd then make your backup and you would be worrie free or would that be to much work uhh.gif

-If it is a LIVE game, they could not allow you onto the server without the updated files...

-or-

-The files could be self-contained in the game executables (which you don't want to delete) and the only way to get rid of them would be to decompile and re-write the game code...

I'm sure there are more ways too... but this is just off the top of my head...
