Hi all,

Looks like ive managed to get my hands on a xbox with samsung drive, if i update to kinect dash via disc is it true that ap 2.5 will not work on this drive, so i will be able to play kinect backups smile.gif

kinect games aren't ap2.5, so you have nothing to worry about either way. at the current time, the only ap2.5 game is fable 3. that being said, according to c4e, since the samsung drives don't support the ap2.5 checks, they should have nothing to worry about. (although that might be dependent on the system having a samsung drive ORIGINALLY, and not a samsung spoofed to something else)

thanks all, the xbox is 2006 and still on jtag able dash so diff original samsung drive totally forgot i had one lol

I've asked this in another thread. I've got an old Elite. It's got a Sammy with fw 1.6 spoofed to appear as a LiteOn. I don't have the Kinect dash. If I do, is it going to send the new challenges even though the Sammy can't handle them, simply because the Sammy says it's a Liteon?
