Is replacing a rather old version (mine is currently v 0.37.1218A) the same as replacing the second most recent dash, or do you need to do other steps, or reinstall? I would like to update, but I haven't used my xbox in so long that I've forgotten most of the basics. Thanks in advance for your attempts at reeducating me on the simple things.

Just grab the latest version (UnleashX_0_39_0528A.rar), unpack it, give the .xbe file the same name as your current dash, then copy it over your current dash.
