Falcon Jtag New Freeboot Problems, Having problem with a few games Options

Mainly the games I am having problem are rock band 3 and dance central. they load up to the title and then just crash. Other games are random but most work.

I have a falcon with the latest freeboot I installed the avatar update and have the latest dash launch install which just autoboots on to freestyle dash 2.0

Even the games though will not work without the hard drive plugged in which is weird.

My set up for the jtag wiring is the one with one of the wires solder to the front of the 360 next to the power button I do not know if that might cause a problem but I am willing to try another set up if possible.
