Xbox Version: v1.0
360 version: v1 (xenon)
wll there's 2 versions,
the first is a BIOS, which is what you have to put on you mod chip to get it to read unsigned and backed up software

the second is i guess a kind of new, "operating system" that replaces the black/green MS one. we call it a dashboard.

the second one is not required to use backup/unsigned software but it makes your life easier.. tongue.gif
