my uncle just gave me his 360, which i know has played backups since more than a year ago. My question is, how do i know if it was just flashed, or chipped?

The reason why is because im about to burn a game to a disc, but i dont know if i need to have it patched(nme associator) I dont want to end up wasting a disc or anything.

If it helps ive been playing fight night round 3(backup) with no problem and it seems to have been updated to the kinect dash so far. Is there supposed to be some kind of custom dashboard for modchips?

My advice would be to open up the console and have a looksee, if you see a chip, then obviously it's chipped, if not then it's flashed! biggrin.gif
