Toca Race Driver 3 Fix Here Options

I came up with a crack for Toca 3 and was wondering of some folks could test it to make sure it works. I tried using the trainer that exists for this game in Evox, but that dashboard would never load this game for me for some reason. Just froze on the X screen...

The crack fixes (I hope) the save corruption that occurs when the protection check fails, and also finally lets you play from the hard drive.

Here it is in DVD2Xbox 0.78 ACL form. Put this into a text file, save it as 434d0050.acl and copy it to the acl directory where you have dvd2xbox installed on your xbox.

It was tested with the NTSC version on an X3 modchipped machine. I believe the PAL version should work too. Let me know.

DTM and V8 Supercars are likely considered different games. Do you know what the title ID is for DTM Race Driver 3?

I found this thread and thought it would be my salvation. But I'm having problems. It simply loads to a black screen and stops.

1) I burned the game iso to disc and tested it (can play the game with the disc).
2) I then ripped the game disc to the hard drive via DVD2Xbox
3) I followed your instructions and put the ACL file in the ACL directory in the DVD2Xbox directory
4) reboot the Xbox and tried to launch the game (both at the UnleashX dash and inside DVD2Xbox).

arrived at the black screen.

if there's anything you can do to help, it would be very much appreciated !!! this is such an awesome game because it has everything. great graphics and controls, system link multiplayer with bots (!!!!), tons of game modes, etc.

my friends want to play this over the Internet so badly

We dont support downloading of games here.. Just backup of your own...

You got step 2 & 3 reversed. You have to put the acl file into the directory BEFORE you rip the disc with DVD2XBox.

I Only have a black screen.

Same things for metal gear solid substance (PAL version) but without ACL modification. It doesn`t work on HDD. The DVD size is 4.5 Gb.

What can I do?

Sorry, I use my backup with dvd2xbox to my HDD.

I can confirm that this patch works perfectly with the US version of 'Toca Race Driver 3'. It's even Multi5!
Races start almost instantly from HDD, very quick loading times.

I ripped my original disc from the german DTM Race Driver with this methode, but i become a black screen??

Edit: I patched new with the filemanager from DVD2XBOX and now works!
