Hi.

Can anyone tell me how to go back to default NXE on booting. If I remove dash launch it boots to xexmenu now.

Thanks!

Simple, just remove whatever is in the default line of your launch.ini. You didn't need to remove dashlaunch

What should the line then look like? Would it be

default=

ie. with nothing after the "=" or would it just be completely deleted?

What do you mean you remove DashLaunch and it boots into XeXMenu? To "uninstall" it would mean you're flashing a new NAND image without DashLaunch patched into it.
Which would then mean your console should always boot to the normal dashboard. So it going to XeXMenu is odd.

But yes, just remove what "default=" points to and it should load the Xbox dashboard every time.

Do you by any chance have a CD in your console with XeXMenu on?

If you really want to, just delete the launch.ini from the storage device. Remember you can have launch.ini on multiple storage devices. If you delete one on a USB drive, there could still be one on a HDD which it will then use.
