Hi Folks,

I'm having problems flashing A 16D2S - 93450 drive, after flashing the drive dosflash displays: 256388 errors.
The drive is not flashed (erased) and nothing can be done with it.
I have a Xecuter switch that is installed and the switch it turned to R/W mode...the drive itselfs is visible and in vendor 0x72 mode....
I tried allot of other things, changing dosflash versions 1.8 - 1.7.
Even when flashing the original firmware I get the same errors, the card used is a VT6421A...

Can somebody help me out?

Dump the switch, they're junk.
Did you already get the key completely?

Could it be possible that i am using the wrong dvd key?
Writing the flash works, but after wards i get errors:

- jungleflasher: Write verify failed
- dosflash: 256336 errors

step one, remove the lt switch. until you do that, there is no magic words we can tell you that will make the drive work. be very careful, usually when people remove these things, they rip every trace up with them, then you will have to buy a new pcb which might be the easiest thing anyway.

removed the switch with a desolder pump, pcb is fine, except for the trace cuts that where needed for the switch.
Drive now is not recognized because it was erased...unable to open the tray, and nothing detects by drive.
