Hey guys, I have a soft-modded 1.0 XBOX with an already upgraded 80gb drive. I recently tried upgrading to a Samsung SV1204 120gb drive by following a tutorial which used XboxHDM and I did manage to get the XBOX to run off the new HDD, but it boot into the original Microsoft dash instead of the set default, XBMC. I later found out about shadow-c, so I later used a toolkit I found on Se7en Sins to bypass shadow-c. I again created a new HD and now XBMC booted up as default, but the system wouldn't recognize the newly added space and I also tried copying a music track to the HDD off the original MS dash and failed. I received an error letting me know there was no available space on the drive when in reality there was at least 40gb available.

I have been thinking of giving up on it and using the drive on my PC and simply setting up SMB, but I would appreciate having the media ready-to-go off the XBOX and not having to turn on the PC in order to watch.
