I have an old fat 360 which has already been banned. I have the latest LT+ firmware on it now with the Kinect dashboard update that came out in November of 2010. I have absolutely no interest(or way, obviously) to use live.

I do not plan on downloading or installing any further dash updates.

I am kind of confused on the things I've been reading about lately in regards to the latest dash updates that have just been coming out..

I guess my bottom line question is, are the newest games coming out requiring that I update my dashboard again? Or am I okay to play my games going forward on the firmware I already have installed, provided I do not do any more updates?

I wish I could word my question better, if I'm not clear I'll try to elaborate after some responses. I

Newer games have always required dash updates. That's unlikely to change in the future.
