If your Xbox is a 1.6 you can unplug the chip, softmod, boot the softmod, reinstall the chip, then flash. If not then you have to hotswap with another chip.

A 1.6 doesn't have a TSOP to flash.

I know. sorry I forgott to say that this one is a 1.1 and I got a bunch of 1.6 that just collects dust.
If I TSOP flash this 1.1 can I then flash the chip with it or do I have to use an 1.6?

Again.

"If your Xbox is a 1.6 you can unplug the chip, softmod, boot the softmod, reinstall the chip, then flash. If not then you have to hotswap with another chip."

So, if your Xbox is a 1.1 then the second sentence applies.

Yes, if you don't have another chip that's the easiest solution.
