Hi folks.

I'm running xdsl0.6 on a loopback install on my xbox.
I basically want to be able to ssh in and use some simple linux command line network tools from my windows pc.
I'd really like to get APT running so I can retrieve the compatible programs I need.
when I use the scripts provided in the desktop sub-menu I get this message

wget: server returned error 404: HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found
Connecting to www.ibiblio.org[152.46.7.80]:80
wget: server returned error 404: HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found
Download error!
Press Enter to continue...

I'm guessing the repository is no longer on the server.
This leads me to believe that the apt tool would be useless even if I did manage to get it installed.

Please enlighten me on this one cause I'd love to get it working.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks dominater01.
I'm away for the weekend so I'll give that a shot when I get back home.

I'll check in and let you know how it goes.

you could just open your control panel under system click on the select mirror button and select a new mirror solves the problem
