Hi, I'm interested in upgrading 4Gb Slims hardrive but not sure if I'd get banned if I did. I've seen alot of Non-OEM harddrive for sale on ebay 20Gb/60Gb/120Gb ect I've also got a few old model hardrive lying about .
So my question is will I get banned for useing my old hardrives on my 4gb slim or these chinese Non-OEM ones on ebay ?

Hoping someone knows a bit more on this there does'nt seem to be a strait google answer on this, end of day if ebay are letting the sellers in china sell these hardrives after there law filtering ways then it's looking like they must be ok, right

I can't speak on behalf of the non-oem HDDs.
However, if you have an official old-style OEM Xbox 360 HDD, those will not get you banned. You just need to take it out of the case, so it will fit inside the slim. You'll also need to buy one of these: XBOX 360 SLIM HARD DRIVE HDD CASE SHELL
Try to avoid hong kong or china sellers, because they take a long time to ship to you, unless you live there.
