Hi there. I had an xbox with a crappy super aladdin live clone or whatever that was impossible to flash. I wanted to put linux on the box so i swapped the chip with a white duox2 (turns out this is a clone too mad.gif )

I tried turning it on and now it just fraggs. After this I realised that I left the BT wire where it was for the aladdin, instead of shifting it to the eject button for the duo. Could this be what is causing it to frag, or is it more likely that i stuffed up the soldering to the lpc or stuffed the 1.6 rebuild?

I also switched the switch to try the second bios bank and it still fraggs.

Thanks.

Desolder the BT wire all together and then try to boot up the xbox with the bank switch on the chip in the Top (2nd) position. That should be for 1.6 xbox's. If that does not work you should recheck the soldering on the LPC rebuild again. Those are always a bitch to troubleshoot if it frags or gives you problems.
