Does anyone here know of a way to connect a PC to a PS3 for streaming video?

The setup is a desktop PC (WinXP x64) connected through an ethernet cable to a wireless router, and a PS3. The PS3 recognizes the wireless router, but I'm unsure how to set the overall connection up.

For some reason, the PS3 keeps trying to connect to the internet through the wireless router, which doesn't have an internet connection. All I want the PS3 to do is connect wirelessly to the router, so it'll be recognized by the PC

Download ps3 media server free on the pc. Install to the pc. Turn on the ps3 and run the ps3 media server on the pc. The program will find your ps3 automatically and you can stream movies from the pc easily

definitely - ps3 media server works in almost every instance, HD videos and all. I've tried the other options and found it to be the most stable and easiest to work with.
